Farm and Home Hardware is looking for Stock and Yard people to join our existing top-notch team. Established in 1960, we have over 60 years of experience helping our friends and neighbors complete their projects. If you enjoy collaborating closely with a team of dedicated people who offer high end service, then we are a perfect fit for you. We are looking for initiative-takers who would like to grow with a local, family-owned company. We are also very excited to announce the opening of our new store in Wakeman, Ohio. Our expected Grand opening date is for November 2024. We have built the business by offering service, convenience, and fair pricing to our customers. I would say we are more than a traditional Hardware Store. Over the years we have partnered with key national brands to help offer the best products possible to our communities. Our Stock and Yard people are an integral part of our customer service team. We are looking for dedicated, driven individuals interested in part time or full-time hours. Shifts vary and while we would like to have open availability, we also understand that many qualified candidates have restrictions that limit the availability. With that we are willing to discuss this opportunity and see if it will work for both Farm and Home and you in your current situation. We have a variety of tasks that are completed by our stock team and are always looking to fill these positions with dedicated people in High School, attending College, and Adults looking for a full-time career.

High School stock positions : You must be 16 years of age with decent availability

We take pride in helping High School students enter the job market and learn marketable skills that will help them throughout their life.

These are a few examples of life lessons you will practice :

College stock positions : we offer flexible full and part time positions for college students and take pride in helping these students through life while they are attending post grad education. We also offer some business internships to work with your school in preparing you for the career path you have selected. While with us, you will gain confidence in yourself and learn life lessons that will stick with you for years. Most of the previous High School lessons will apply here as well as some additional tasks due to your age and maturity.

Adult stock positions : We offer full and part time positions for adults interested in starting a career with Farm and Home. These positions start higher on our pay scale and have more responsibility than the other stock positions we offer. You will be required to work daytime hours and every other weekend. You will also be tasked to help lead our stock staff while working directly with them. This position requires a clean driving record and the ability for us to add you to our insurance as you will part of our delivery team. This position also offers opportunities to advancement in our company.
