SHIPPER / RECEIVER

LAB Medical Manufacturing, Inc. ISO 13485 registered manufacturer of medical devices, has openings for : SHIPPER / RECEIVER Responsible for all logistics-related activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of property in compliance with all associated laws and regulations. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepares items for shipment. Counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Primary Responsibilities : Determines method of shipment and prepares shipping documents. Receives merchandise; checks and signs delivery slips and assists with unloading as necessary. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with shipper and / or supply chain manager to rectify damages and shortages. Accepts or returns merchandise according to established company procedures. Enters all receipts, rejects and shortages into JobBOSS system. Organizes distribution of received items. Contacts transport companies and suppliers to ship, expedite, trace or return merchandise that does not conform to specifications or purchase orders. Assembles containers and crates, packs goods to be shipped and prepares identifying information and shipping instructions. Requirements : Experience with domestic and international shipping Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data Basic math and recording abilities Excellent organizational skills Great communication and interpersonal abilities Keen eye for detail Good physical condition LAB Medical Manufacturing offers a team-oriented and excellent work environment.
