We are seeking an experienced Application Security Architect to join our team. This role will involve defining and implementing secure design principles for cloud and application architectures. The ideal Application Security Architect will have extensive experience in threat modeling, cloud security, and application security testing, with a strong ability to collaborate with design and development teams.

Duration : 6 Months

Job Description

As an Application Security Architect , you will be responsible for leading the security design and review of enterprise applications and services. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that security is built into every layer of application development and deployment. The Application Security Architect will act as a trusted advisor, guiding teams on security best practices, architecture reviews, and secure development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the primary Application Security Architect , ensuring security considerations are embedded into design and development phases.
  • Provide expert guidance on Cloud Security Architecture , including the design and implementation of secure cloud solutions.
  • Conduct and guide Threat Modeling to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support development teams in applying Application Security Testing (AppSec) best practices and integrating security tools into CI / CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with design and solution architecture teams to ensure alignment between security standards and business requirements.
  • Define and assess API Security Requirements , evaluating potential risks and determining necessary security controls.
  • Assess existing applications for material changes and determine their impact on overall security posture.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as an Application Security Architect or in a similar role focused on application and cloud security.
  • Deep understanding of Cloud Security Architecture across major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of SSO (Single Sign-On) , OAuth , and identity management principles.
  • Proficiency in threat modeling , secure coding , and AppSec testing methodologies .
  • Hands-on experience with API security , DevSecOps integration , and risk assessment .
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional design teams.
