This role is a hybrid position, with 3 days in the Tampa office and 2 days working from home. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in group employee benefits and a growing understanding of employee group benefits, including COBRA.
The primary responsibilities of this position include :
- Primary Benefit liaison for Clients, Work Site Employees, Brokers, and Insurance Vendors
- Providing guidance and resolving service problems for employees and clients
- Managing communications materials for client worksites and co-employees regarding benefits
- Attending industry functions and participating in relevant training
- Developing an extensive knowledge of insurance coverage, markets, and changes
- Conducting presentations and meeting with employees to discuss benefit choices
- Participating in vendor meetings
- Processing life event and status changes
- Managing the renewal process
- Communicating renewal materials to clients and brokers
- Preparing materials for employees based on client specifications
- Reviewing system updates and presenting changes to clients
- Auditing and confirming client employee enrollments and elections
- Working alongside HRBP's and payroll specialists to support clients
- Managing client expectations
- Overseeing the administration of non-Prestige plans
