QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations / Marketing or four years of related experience working in the human services field. Must pass KBI, DCF child & adult abuse check, motor vehicle screen, and background checks. If the position requires the use of a personal vehicle for work purposes, the employee must have reliable, insured transportation that is properly registered and compliant with all applicable state and local requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :

- Familiar with social media programs & online platforms.
- Experience in design and development of outreach materials.
- Extremely high attention to detail.

- Maintaining the Center’s confidentiality policies is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The Job Shadow & Program Outreach Coordinator will assist the Project Director with all activities, develop program outreach materials, and coordinate RCORP-Pathways activities for SEKMHC, along with developing, organizing, and managing job shadowing experiences for middle school and high school students interested in the behavioral health field.
Assist and maintain partnerships with local behavioral health organizations, clinics, hospitals, counseling centers, and other relevant institutions.Coordinate job shadowing opportunities for students, ensuring alignment with curriculum goals and industry expectations.Develop and implement job shadow program guidelines, policies, and procedures.Provide pre-shadowing training and orientation for students, covering expectations, professional behavior, and confidentiality protocols.Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports regarding student participation and outcomes.Provide support to the students and educators to improve program quality and effectiveness.Assist with marketing strategies to update social media sites and websites, create flyers, and inform the public about the programMaintain and enhance a positive and professional perception of SEKMHC to internal and external audiences.Assist in copy editing and proofreading.Create and design content for program outreach materials and grant activities.Distribute / deliver program outreach materials to centers, network members, event locations, and businesses as needed.Organize and execute behavioral health career opportunities at partnering schools, including career fairs, guest speakers, etc.Attend group / organization / network events to represent all areas served within our catchment area.Maintain communication and collaborate with network members and potential partners.Identify opportunities to raise public awareness for program outreach.TRANSPORTATION AND DELIVERY : For work-related travel, employees must operate company or personal vehicles responsibly, in accordance with all traffic laws, regulations, and organizational safety policies.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS :
Regular and punctual attendance is required and is an essential function of this position.This position requires the ability to operate a vehicle as part of routine job functions.This position requires the ability to use a computer and software as part of routine job functions.Employees are expected to perform duties at the designated work location stated in the offer letter unless otherwise noted by your supervisor.Attendance at in-person meetings and training sessions is required, even for remote or hybrid roles, as necessary, unless otherwise noted by your supervisor.This is a salaried, exempt position. The typical work schedule may fluctuate and may exceed 40 hours per week based on operational needs. Flexibility is expected to meet the responsibilities of the role. Overtime will be compensated in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws.This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs as part of routine job functions.Perform other duties as assigned by your Supervisor or the Chief Executive Officer.EMPLOYMENT STATUS : Exempt
