Position Overview :
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales & Business Development Representative to join our team. This individual will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and helping expand our footprint in the skilled labor staffing market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, strong communication skills, and an understanding of staffing solutions or the skilled trades industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, in-person meetings, and digital outreach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in construction, manufacturing, and industrial sectors
- Conduct needs assessments to understand client staffing requirements and propose tailored workforce solutions
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring terms align with business goals and compliance standards
- Collaborate with recruiting and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful worker placements
- Track sales activities and maintain up-to-date CRM records
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to increase brand awareness and build pipeline
Qualifications :
2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in staffing, construction, or industrial sectorsProven success in meeting or exceeding sales targetsStrong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office SuiteValid drivers license and willingness to travel locallyPreferred Qualifications :
Experience in skilled labor or light industrial staffingUnderstanding of OSHA and industry safety standards
