Job Description

As a Security Professional - Access Logistics Driver in Olathe, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols of the site. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, as you will operate vehicles as part of your duties. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting to help to deter unauthorized entry.

Provide customer service by assisting visitors and personnel with security-related inquiries and procedures according to site-specific policies.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols to support emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain awareness of the surroundings.

Document observations and incidents, preparing detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and location personnel to maintain a secure and orderly environment within the logistics and distribution setting.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
