What you need to know about this position :
- Broad Imaging Services Department, which performs an average of 80,000 exams per year and offering CT Scan, MRI, PET Scan, Ultra Sound, Nuclear Medicine and all digital X-Ray.
- Our Imaging Services Department supports Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Departments.
- Provides healthcare services applying x-ray energy and computer processing techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
- Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
- Radiologic Technologist positions have a base hourly rate of $25.99. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
- The shift for this position will be 3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm, 4-8-hour shifts, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (32 hours per week), with a weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation.
What is required for this position :
Associate’s Degree or equivalent degree, completion of a military radiology program or completion of a hospital based radiology program required. Any and all must be approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)One year of practical experience as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent is requiredGraduate working under a valid Student Rad Tech license : Must maintain a valid X-Ray Machine Operators License from the Indiana State Department of Health within 6 months post-graduationCurrent Registration from ARRT required within 90 days post-graduation, required CE credits must be maintained in accordance with accrediting bodies requirementsBasic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Associate (AHA) requiredThe employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and push or pull; must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move upt to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.PIb5be40bdfe0d-30511-38098649
