Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, evenings Employment Type : Travel Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. This department (i.e. PACU) provides patient monitoring and care during the immediate post anesthesia period. Care may include primary as well as secondary recovery phases.
