Description

As a Video Codec Algorithm Engineer within our small and dynamic group, you will be at the forefront of innovation, tackling complex technical challenges and playing a key role in shaping the future of video experiences across Apple products. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a deep passion for video coding and processing technologies, coupled with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead R&D in emerging media compression technologies and standards.
• Design and implement innovative video compression / processing algorithms optimized for existing and future hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware and software architects to define and integrate media features and algorithms for upcoming products.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $171,600 and $302,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
