As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service while responding to security-related situations. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.00 - $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat12 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AMSun12 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and / or directing visitors as needed.

Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with security-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

A guard card or security-related license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
