Position : Logistics Associate
Location : Nashville, In office
Reports to : Manager, Supply Chain Team
Overview
Coordinate the fulfilment of assigned customer orders and maintain an appropriate stock level at the distribution centers. Work with Global HQ and field sales employees to ensure incoming order volumes are adequate to fulfil any fluctuations in the customer's forecast and / or plan.
Responsibilities
Check and monitor customer's order release data to ensure orders will be filled on time for all business partnersWork with carriers to ensure JIT deliveries are made on time and resolve any out of line situationsWork with the Supply Chain manager to adequately resolve all issues with customersParticipate in the development of the PSI (Purchasing Sales Inventory) processReport any out-of-line situations to the supply chain managerComplete all tasks and assignments as directed by ManagementKey Competencies

A bachelor's degree required or equivalent related experienceA bachelor's degree relevant to Business Administration and Supply Chain Management preferred0 – 4 years of experience in supply chain operations preferredAdvanced level of proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook requiredPrior experience working with 3PLs (Third Party Logistics Providers) requiredFamiliarity with ERP System (SAP), Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferredSome overnight travel, including weekends required
