The process engineering group at Stantec, located in Minneapolis (Plymouth, MN), works on various industrial processes, food and beverage, chemical, agricultural, and other manufacturing projects. From retrofit / upgrade projects to brownfield additions, to complete greenfield facility installations, we partner with clients through all phases of the project lifecycle to deliver high quality designs and outcomes.
Your Opportunity
As a Process Engineer, you will support our clients and project teams being responsible for process design through the life cycle of projects from initial project definition through commissioning and start up. You will be an individual contributor to process design activities and at other times you may be responsible for overseeing other engineers on design activities.

Reporting Relationships
This role will report internally to the group manager but will have other "soft" lines of reporting to the project managers for projects that you are working on. Although you will not have any direct reports, you may be responsible for overseeing other team members on project related activities.

It is desired for this person to commute as needed to the office located in Plymouth MN, however potential for partial or full remote work either in state or out of state is possible for the right candidate.
Indoor (Office Environment) Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting. Noise level varies but generally at levels of conversation. Majority of time spent using a computer / laptop at a workstation and related office equipment. Time spent carrying, reaching, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling up to 9 kilograms / 20 pounds. Occasional – 1-33% of shift. Subject to extended periods of sitting; may be required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk short to moderate distances to perform work. Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment if needed.

Pay Range
Locations in MN, VT, and Various CA, NY Areas - Min Salary 88,300.00 - Max Salary 128,000.00
Pay Transparency
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
