CNC Machine Repair Technician IV - 2nd Shift

Amentum is seeking an CNC Machine Repair Technician IV at the subject matter expert level to join our Facilities – Operations and Maintenance team based in Durham, NC

• Typical work hours are 2 : 30 PM – 11 : 00 PM; hours may vary based on business demand.

This position will be a member of a technical team of employees supporting technical operations at the client’s facility. The scope of service includes the maintaining, development, execution, and continuous improvement of the preventative and predictive maintenance activities at the client’s site. Must be an effective communicator with team, site management, vendors and customers. This position will be involved with small to large repairs, overhauls and construction projects with minimal supervision.

Must be capable of providing instruction, mentoring and training less skilled technicians as needed. Effectively communicates with the site management team and the customer to understand requirements, solve complex electrical problems, and provide solutions to manufacturing problems.

The CNC Machine Repair Technician must have the ability to identify troubleshoot and correct any operational or safety-related issues and perform independent equipment root cause evaluations to identify potential equipment failures. Identifies and documents cost savings.
