Head of Data Engineering

A company is looking for a Head of Data Engineering / Senior Manager Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and grow the Data Engineering team, overseeing hiring, onboarding, and performance management

Define and own the technical vision, strategy, and architecture for the company's data platform

Act as the senior technical contributor, designing and implementing complex data pipelines and models

Required Qualifications

8-12+ years of experience in data engineering and / or software engineering

At least 2+ years of formal people management experience

Expertise in designing and operating modern, cloud-native data platforms (GCP / BigQuery preferred)

Mastery of data modeling, transformation, and orchestration frameworks (e.g., DBT)

Experience collaborating with leaders across various departments to deliver impactful data solutions
