This position is responsible to provide courteous and efficient beverage service to guests in accordance with Campiello standards and in compliance with Company policies and the laws regarding alcohol service. The bartender will verify identification and age of customers, pour and mix drinks based on customer requests and client offerings, accept payment and balance receipts to record sales. The position will work in such a way as to project Campiello as a leader in its concept of guest satisfaction and public acclaim. This position is the direct contact and face of Campiello with guests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Displays genuine concern with the success of each shift and makes every effort to achieve that priority.

Take drink orders from guests and wait staff, prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with recipes and pour policies.

Verify identification and age requirements of customers.

Tally or ring-in drink prices, collects payment and makes change with detailed accuracy. Able to manage reconciliation sheet with integrity and accuracy and follows proper cash handling procedures.

Prepare garnish for drinks, keeping in mind taste and presentation.

May wash and sterilize glassware.

Does clean up and sanitize bar area after shifts, following all required closing procedures.

Attends training and follows all Company policies and procedures, and laws regarding the safe service of alcohol.

Willing and able to discontinue alcohol service to guest(s) when circumstances warrant.

Alerts the manager of potential problems.

Work cooperatively with service staff to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.

Takes pride in work and is committed to professionalism in demeanor & appearance.

Cost conscious.

Diligent about working safely and reporting any safety concerns to a manager.

Performs other duties as assigned.
