The Opportunity :
UCF is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant II to join the dedicated team at the UCF College of Nursing. The Administrative Assistant II will temporarily support the Assistant Dean of Students and Student Services by conducting administrative duties and activities at the Dr. Phillips Nursing Pavilion on UCF's Academic Health Sciences Campus in Lake Nona.
Responsibilities :
Support the Student Scholarships and Awards Committee by managing the scholarship database, award forms, and award letters.
Take meeting minutes and assist the faculty scholarship committee with the selection and distribution of scholarships.
Supports the Admission, Progression, and Graduation (APG) Committee by managing the student petition database, send out decision letters, communicate with students, and take meeting minutes.
Assist with the student intent to graduate review process by checking for RN licenses, creating credit by exam letters, and reviewing degree audits.
Assist the Assistant Dean of Students in managing student educational verification forms by making fillable PDFs, communicating with alumni, coordinating with the Registrar's Office, tracking and mailing out documents.
Assist the Assistant Dean of Students with student / alumni evaluation data by pulling data reports, compiling data, and sending out follow-up communication.
Provide backup to the Student Services reception desk as needed.
Minimum Qualifications :
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
Preferred Qualifications :
Previous administrative experience in an office setting.
Proficiency with basic technology tools used in academic environments (e.g., Microsoft Office, administrative software, etc).
The most successful candidates may possess the following qualities :
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in professional or academic settings.

Applicant must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer, as sponsorship is not available for this position. The anticipated salary range for this position is $17.64 - $21.61. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
This Administrative Assistant II position is part-time and will offer up to 20 hours per week.
