AP & AR Accountant

Note : This position will have a later schedule : Monday - Friday, 11am - 7 : 30pm (with 30 minutes for lunch break)

AP & AR Accountant

Responsibilities :

AP & AP Accountant will spend roughly 20% of time : invoicing campaigns, invoicing through QuickBooks desktop. Will prepare and send several invoices / day, 5 days / week.

AP & AP Accountant will spend roughly 80% of time : Payments utilizing a proprietary software (check runs daily.) 8-9 invoices to process daily. Money arrives from invoice, accepted into QuickBooks then make a payment ("check orders") to different media sources (i.e. TV stations, radio stations, cable stations, can be digital), then within that payment (amounts broken down for TV, radio, etc.) then within the branches, could be multiple TV stations or other stations)

AP & AR Accountant will confirm if the vendors get paid by ACH, check, etc.

AP & AR Accountant will confirm ending escrow balance for each client is correct

AP & AR Accountant may be asked to assist with bank reconciliation

AP & AP Accountant will complete additional projects, as requested

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree or associate degree preferred (accounting, finance, or related). Candidates with relevant work experience will also be considered.

Previous AP or AR experience (AP is especially preferred)

QuickBooks Desktop is a plus but should have some previous ERP experience

Excel - basic skills (columns, summations)

Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
