Your Role

As an Ambulatory Nurse , you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional healthcare to individuals, families, and communities. Utilizing a systematic approach, you will incorporate assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in your nursing practice, all within the RN scope defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide and facilitate competent healthcare for patients and families.
• Ensure adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice.
• Document care accurately and completely.
• Deliver health and wellness education to individuals and groups.
• Act as a preceptor, supporting the development of staff and healthcare students.
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving quality of care and clinical outcomes.
• Assist in developing departmental standing orders with the Nursing Supervisor / Coordinator.
• Provide care and telephone triage, including assessment, implementation, and evaluation.
• Assist in minor procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician or advanced practice provider.
• Administer medications and injections as guided by a licensed physician or advanced practice provider.
• Complete necessary paperwork for local schools regarding medication administration and physicals.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $30.39 - $52.27 per hour . This range reflects a good faith minimum and maximum for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including experience, qualifications, and shifts worked.
