Description :

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Propane Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting propane from terminals to bulk storage at our Texas propane facilities. This role requires strict adherence to DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards while providing exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate delivery records.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Safely operate a propane transport truck in compliance with DOT regulations, company policies and state / federal laws.
  • Load, transport, and deliver bulk propane to bulk storage tanks at our Texas locations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document / report any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, manifests, and delivery documentation and ensure accuracy using our onboard system.
  • Conduct safe loading and unloading of propane, following proper transfer procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain communication with operations staff regarding delivery schedules, route changes, and any service delays.
  • Respond to emergency situations (leaks, equipment malfunctions, accidents) in accordance with company procedures.

Requirements : Requirements :

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL - class A) with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (T) endorsements.
  • Current DOT Medical Certification.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Previous experience as a propane transport driver or in a similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of propane safety procedures and regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Physically fit, able to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as needed.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
