American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week assignment in a post-acute care setting requiring flexibility across inpatient, outpatient, and home health areas.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is split 50% inpatient acute care and 50% outpatient, with the option for pediatric or adult outpatient careCaseload ranges from 6 to 10 patients per day depending on coverage areaWork schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm, with no weekends or holidays requiredExpect to cover at least two areas including inpatient, outpatient, or home care; specialized areas such as ortho or lymphedema may be includedEPIC is used for charting in inpatient and outpatient settings; Kinnser is used for home health chartingRole includes providing therapy services for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics with diagnoses such as orthopedic, neurologic, fall risk, and general weaknessOpportunities for specialization in upper extremity OT or lymphedema, though flexibility for other OT treatments is requiredDepartment-specific orientation provided during the first week with a progressively increasing caseloadTeam support may include COTAs for treatment as availableDress code requires black, navy, or royal blue scrubs or business casual attireDrug screening is required as the campus is drug-freeNo COVID-19 vaccination is required for this positionLocal rates apply for candidates residing within 50 miles of the facilityFirst-time travelers will be considered\n \n Requirements\n
