About The Position

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience, eye experience highly desired

License : Valid State License required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS

Must-Have : Conscious sedation experience

Description :

Must have conscious sedation experience.

Day shift required.

Epic charting experience preferred.

The role involves various surgical procedures.

Skills required include abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, laparoscopic procedures, and general OR tasks.

Experience in handling eye trauma and monitoring conscious sedation is necessary.

Candidates should be familiar with standard operating room protocols such as infection control and patient safety.

The unit has a daily census of 40 patients and is equipped with 6 operating rooms.

Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services and radiology.

The patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Specific charting experience is required, with a preference for Epic.

Candidates must disclose any background hits or DUIs prior to application.

Travel compliance requirements apply.

Modules are non-billable and are completed during orientation.
