Commercial Framer - Lead

A Team Home Services is looking for an experienced Lead Commercial Framer to add to our remodeling department!

This role is specifically for commercial projects, but team members can transition to residential if project slow down.

The Commercial Framer Lead is responsible for leading a framing crew in the construction of commercial buildings, ensuring all structural framing is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

This role includes hands-on framing duties, crew supervision, material planning, and quality control.

The ideal candidate is a skilled carpenter with strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of commercial framing methods and building codes.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and supervise a crew of framers on commercial construction sites.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure project timelines are met.
• Train and mentor crew members in safe and efficient framing practices.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
• Perform advanced framing tasks, including layout, cutting, and assembly of wood or metal framing systems.
• Ensure framing work meets structural specifications, industry standards, and local building codes.
• Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures; participate in daily toolbox talks.
• Identify and resolve construction or safety issues promptly.
• Coordinate framing activities with other trades and site supervisors.
• Communicate project progress and material needs to supervisors.
