Job Details

This role combines theoretical knowledge with practical application to support a field focused on evaluating water cleanliness—whether it's source water or potable water in municipal distribution systems. A strong understanding of UV-VIS spectroscopy is essential, and hands-on experience with spectroscopy measurement is a plus. The Product Manager will oversee a portfolio of turbidity standards and spectrophotometer reference materials, provide technical support, and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and operations to meet strategic goals.

Responsibilities :

Product Portfolio Management :

  • Develop pricing strategies based on competitive offerings and specifications
  • Create and update product specifications
  • Lead development of new products and SKUs
  • Manage lifecycle of products within the portfolio—additions and eliminations
  • Monitor sales results and adjust strategies to meet financial objectives
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses to align with customer needs and internal capabilities
  • Build and execute annual marketing plans in coordination with the marketing team
  • Set and manage sales budget targets in alignment with broader divisional goals
  • Foster and manage key customer relationships, including site visits as needed
  • Define pricing and margin strategies; support sales teams in competitive scenarios
  • Assist in the evaluation of new products, capital projects, and potential acquisitions
  • Identify new markets and sales opportunities
  • Develop product training programs for internal teams and external partners
  • Provide technical support to customers, dealers, and internal staff
  • Represent the company at trade shows and technical events, including setup and preparation
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, webinars, and technical content
  • Collaborate with lab and production teams to improve methodologies and ensure market readiness
  • Support quality systems and follow ISO procedures, especially regarding change control
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Marketing (preferred)
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant industry experience (as a user or product specialist)
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
  • Required Skills :

  • Experience with new product development and launches
  • Background in industrial chemical environments
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Understanding of product marketing and / or sales strategies
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-informed decisions
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Background in Analytical Chemistry and related lab instrumentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Capability to learn and interpret data from analytical equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
