Position Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality radiologic exams in a timely, efficient manner while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position requires a professional who can work independently, handle emergency situations calmly, and deliver exceptional patient care during overnight hours.
Essential Functions :
Perform high-quality radiologic procedures according to exam protocols.Ensure timely and accurate completion of imaging studies.Understand and adhere to radiation dose reference levels and appropriate monitoring.Respond appropriately when dose thresholds are exceeded, including patient follow-up when necessary.Use AIDET communication framework to engage with patients effectively and ensure accurate identification and procedure.Prepare patients for procedures : positioning, immobilization, and setting equipment parameters.Follow all safety, infection control, and radiation protection protocols.Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of equipment and work area.Report equipment issues or patient safety concerns to the appropriate parties.Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies.Key Success Factors :
Proficient in performing radiology exams with minimal supervision.Strong communication skills to ease and instruct patients.Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.Competency in emergency response, including first aid and crash cart usage.Commitment to excellent patient service and satisfaction.Capable of mentoring new team members and supporting new initiatives.Knowledgeable in age-specific care needs from newborn to geriatric patients.Ability to deliver cost-effective, quality care in compliance with system and regulatory standards.Qualifications :
Certification / License :ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required
