RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - CCU / ICU

Job Details :

Work in a 30-bed Cardiovascular Unit providing medical, pre-operative and post-operative surgical care

Care for medium to high acuity patients with high potential for becoming unstable

Maintain patient to nurse ratio not exceeding 1 : 4

Serve patient population from young adult through geriatric community

Treat patients with cardiac diagnoses, pre / post cardiac artery bypass surgery, carotid endarterectomy, acute myocardial infarction, post pacemaker insertion, arrhythmia detection, CHF, pneumonia and similar disease processes

May float to other units including Med / Surg as needed

Must have current California RN license

Current BLS certification required

Current ACLS certification required

EPIC charting experience required

Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience required

Must be W-2 employee of agency
