Wage : $65,000 to $75,000 annually

Job Overview :
The Human Resource Generalist will assist with the daily functions of human resources for numerous client schools, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Essential Functions :
Performs administrative, technical and professional work in the HRIS systems of Minga Education Group, including classification, compensation, recruitment, selection, labor relations, benefits administration, and training; and all other work as requiredAssist in the total employee experience from assisting with onboarding through separation of employees.Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.Handles employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and / or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Assist school leaders with revising and maintaining job descriptions.Assist in HR training to schools annually as well as other times as requested.Assist in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations with the Director of Human Resources.Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment lawTravel to charter schools to support and attend board meetings (approx 10-25%)Perform other duties as assignedQualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum of three years of human resource experienceSuccess in roles requiring execution of multiple tasks while responding to multiple prioritiesOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills are essentialPassionate about Minga Education Group's mission and impactSelf-starter, self disciplinedSHRM-CP highly desiredPhysical Requirements :
