GCP Cloud Engineer / Hybrid / ATL

Job Description

We’re partnered with a global leader in intelligent automation and manufacturing technology, hiring a full-time GCP Cloud Engineer to join their Atlanta-based engineering organization. This hybrid position (2 days onsite per week) offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and automation systems that power large-scale, data-driven operations worldwide

As part of a high-impact cloud team, you’ll play a critical role in designing, optimizing, and scaling GCP-based solutions that support complex, real-time manufacturing environments. Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Pub / Sub, BigQuery, etc.)

Solid background in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)

Experience implementing CI / CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring best practices in cloud environments

3+ years of relevant cloud engineering or DevOps experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

What You Will Be Doing

Design, build, and manage scalable GCP infrastructure supporting automated manufacturing systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with IoT and on-prem systems

Enhance system performance, reliability, and observability through automation and monitoring

Implement security, networking, and compliance best practices across environments
