ABOUT THE ROLE :
The Production Associate is a full-time floater position which provides support and coverage across various teams within the production department : Engraving, Finishing, and Shipping. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations during staff absences, periods of high volume, or for special projects. Production is a fast-paced, micro-manufacturing environment, as multiple orders are received and processed daily. The Production Associate will need to be flexible and adaptable, as assignments will vary daily based on organizational needs. All job functions will relate to the production of consumer orders.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a machine operator
- Must be willing to learn operations of fiber lasers, commercial steamers, ultrasonic cleaners, and use of plating chemicals
- Minimum 1 year proven experience in stocking, parts inventory, pull and pack, or shipping
- Position requires use of personal protective equipment such as N95 mask / half mask Respirator, Lab Coat, Safety Glasses,
- Ear Plugs, Nitrile / Rubber Gloves, and other necessary PPE
- Ability to work well and all day with hands
- Flexible and open to change on a daily basis
- Active position requires frequent standing, walking, moving, bending, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 20 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception.
- Proficiency using computers, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

- Work under limited supervision
- Goal oriented and able to organize time and workload

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide coverage to fill positions when regular staff are absent due to vacation, illness, or other leaves and overflow supportExecute tasks as needed in Engraving, Finishing, and Shipping which will include operating machines, working with hand tools and plating chemicals, quality control, assembling materials, and shipping tasks. All tasks must be performed according to workflow assignment, customer specifications, and established company guidelines.Adapt quickly to different work environments and team dynamics to support various teams wherever requiredAssist with special projects as assignedTeam daily target goals and individual performance times must be met or exceeded when providing coverage for a positionEnsure customer orders are shipped by expected ship datesCompliance with standard operating procedures to perform the functions of the jobGain full knowledge of the functions of the automated Fulfillment system to perform daily tasksAdvise Production Lead / Supervisor / Manager of equipment issues, work status, workload, problems, and progress as related to ordersRepresent department and the organization favorably and in accordance with Company standards and associate attributes at all timesOther duties as assigned by managementTRAVEL :
