We are seeking an experienced OB-Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in Minnesota starting Jan 1, 2026. This opportunity offers a 40-day assignment with 24-hour in-house shifts, averaging 10-14 shifts per month. Providers are scheduled no more than one shift in a row, with flexibility for a 1 day on / 1 day off pattern.

  • Schedule : 24-hour in-house shifts starting at 6 : 45am; 10-14 shifts per month; cannot cover more than one shift consecutively; open to 1 day on / 1 day off schedule

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as OB-Hospitalist providing inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
  • Manage labor and delivery cases, including emergency interventions
  • Collaborate with residents on documentation (no supervision required)
  • Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies as needed
  • Ensure continuity of care during assigned shifts
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and standards

  • Board Certification required
  • Minnesota medical license highly preferred
