Must-Have :

Candidates must have experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms.

Candidates must have experience with titratable drips.

Candidates must have an understanding of hemodynamics.

Candidates must have experience with respiratory patients : vents, Bipap, trachs, airvo.

Description :

This is a backfill contract position for an RN in the ICU.

The contract duration is 13 weeks.

The shift is from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.

No on-call is required for this role.

The unit typically has a total of 20 beds.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is either 2 : 1 or 1 : 1 depending on patient acuity.

The unit is staffed with approximately 55 individuals, including day and night shift charge nurses.

Equipment utilized includes GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, and CRRT systems.

Typical procedures performed on the unit include central line and chest tube insertion, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, lumbar punctures, and intubations.

The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.

The dress code requires navy scrubs.

Candidates with experience in CRRT and SLED will be prioritized.
