A company is looking for an Underwriter- Employee Benefits.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct risk assessment and decision-making on new business opportunities
Collaborate with the Distribution team to sell new business and enhance existing business
Work with other departments and vendor partners on underwriting-related issues and best practices
Required Qualifications :
2+ years of Group Employee Benefits Underwriting experience
Experience with Life, STD, LTD, Dental, Vision, Accident, Critical Illness or Hospital Indemnity products
Bachelor's degree or relevant hands-on work experience
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Proven ability to negotiate and adapt to learning
