We are seeking a Portfolio Operations Associate to join our Santa Monica office. In this role, you will be charged primarily with supporting all aspects of the firm’s portfolio and fund management operational needs, ranging from deal execution to portfolio data collection to investor reporting. We are a team committed to advancing an elite venture capital organization—and this position is a central part of our team. This is a role with significant day one responsibility and requires an organized, entrepreneurial mind who wants to be challenged and stretched. What you’ll do :

• Portfolio Management.

You will provide transactional and operational support, playing an integral role in executing venture investments, including coordinating financing agreement reviews, operational reviews, treasury management, and wire process.

You will lead the quarterly valuation process, working with other operations team members and interfacing closely with the investment team.  To be effective, you will compile comprehensive portfolio views, collect essential data and prepare ad-hoc financial models, analyses and presentations on each portfolio company.

You will own the end-to-end portfolio data management process to help our team better understand the health of our portfolio. You will lead the collection, input, tracking, and quality control of company financials & KPI data. You will implement and execute best practices for storing portfolio company & fund-level data, efficiently updating and reporting data across various workflows and functions of the Firm. In these efforts, you will support the team in deriving meaningful insights into our existing book – both at the company and fund level.

Salary Range : $90,000-$115,000. Compensation may vary based on experience, training, and education. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
