$1,738 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Duration : 18 weeks

Shift : Day 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : Active nursing license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CCRN, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, CPAN, CAPA

Must-Have : Previous charge experience, patient ratio experience, charting system experience

Description :

Unit details include call requirements of 1-2 days per week.

Maximum of 12 call days in a 6-week period.

Includes up to 4 weekend days in a 6-week schedule.

Floating within facility / scope of practice is required.

Minimum experience accepted is 2 years, and first-time travelers will be considered.

Full compliance is required to start on time.

If not compliant in time, the start date will be pushed back by 2 weeks due to orientation scheduling.

Maximum requested time off is 7 days.

If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.

If two major holidays occur, the traveler must work both.

For three major holidays, the traveler is expected to work two of them.

Major holidays to consider include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.

Travelers must submit core items within 48 hours of signing the contract.

Two supervisory references are highly preferred at the time of submission.

Candidates should be available to float as needed and must be prepared to work weekends and holidays as required.

Interdisciplinary support includes various teams such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Daily census ranges from 25-35 patients.

The unit engages in various surgical specialties including general surgery and orthopedic procedures.

Special equipment knowledge is a plus.

Candidates are expected to possess skills in arterial line management, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia recognition, among others.
