The Role

We are seeking a strategic and visionary enterprise-minded Senior Director OPEX to lead and transform all aspects of OPEX management and governance across the Enterprise business organization. This role is responsible for architecting a scalable, standardized support model that drives operational excellence, transparency, and alignment with long-term business strategy. The ideal candidate will be a strong business partner and a trusted advisor. Adept at influencing senior stakeholders, leading large global teams, and redefining how Finance partners with the business through advanced analytics, process innovation, and strategic foresight. Experience in sales, product marketing, operations, and telecom is highly valued.

The Main Responsibilities

Enterprise OPEX Governance & Strategic Management

  • Provide executive oversight of OPEX across the global Enterprise business.
  • Design and enforce governance frameworks to ensure consistency, accountability, and strategic alignment.
  • Lead enterprise-wide cost optimization, investment efficiency, and growth initiatives.
  • Manage a $3B+ OPEX P&L with rigor, strategic vision, and proactive risk management.

Process Transformation & Standardization

  • Architect and implement enterprise-wide SOPs to drive operational excellence.
  • Champion process innovation and efficiency across all business units.
  • Oversee standardized workflows, reporting structures, and performance metrics.
  • Leverage automation and digital transformation to elevate operational performance.
  • Global Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a geographically distributed team (15+) across the US, Poland, and other regions.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Set and communicate clear expectations, driving accountability and excellence at all levels.
  • Executive Partnership & Influence

  • Serve as a strategic advisor and partner to C-suite and senior leaders across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with executive stakeholders to align financial support with business priorities.
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights to inform executive decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Systems, Tools & Digital Enablement

  • Drive adoption and optimization of advanced analytics, ERP, and planning tools for enterprise reporting and decision support.
  • Lead partnerships with IT and Finance Systems teams to enhance tool capabilities and usability.
  • Champion the use of Power BI, SAP, Essbase, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for data-driven performance management.
  • What We Look For in a Candidate

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Finance, with a focus on OPEX, FP&A, or enterprise financial management.
  • Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional, and global teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into executive-level insights.
  • Outstanding communication, influence, and relationship-building skills with senior executives.
  • Proven experience driving enterprise-wide initiatives and transformational change.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, financial modeling, and enterprise planning systems.
  • Power BI, SAP, Essbase, and SAC experience strongly preferred.

    This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Location Based Pay Ranges $171,447 - $228,596 in these states : AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY $180,020 - $240,026 in these states : CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI $188,592 - $251,456 in these states : AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
