Fresno Surgical Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission. Our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of : Breast Surgery, Colon & Rectal, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, Spine, Urology. There are 13 Operating Rooms and 5 Treatment Rooms.
The ideal candidate for this role will either have Surgical Hospital or other Hospital Leadership experience.
Job Summary
- Actively involved, at the executive level, in the leadership of the organization. Organizes and administers areas of Patient CareServices to attain the hospital's objectives established by the Governing Body. The CNO has responsibility for the management ofall nursing standards of practice at FSH and therefore responsible for establishing standards of nursing practice, nursing policiesand procedures, and nursing standards of patient care.

Ensures the facility is in perpetualcompliance with Title 22 Joint Commission regulations and standards of practice and providing ongoing feedback to FSH leadershipand medical staff.Participates in the Executive, Finance, Governing Body and medical staff departmental meetings.Participates with leaders from the governing body, management, medical staff and clinical areas in planning, promoting aconducting organization-wide performance improvement activities.Participates with the governing body, management, medical staff, and clinical leaders in the organization's decision-making structures and processes including strategic planning processes.
