Maintenance Operations Worker V

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? Do you enjoy variety in your workday and take pride in maintaining safe, functional, and beautiful facilities? If so, we want YOU!

What You'll Do :

  • Perform skilled maintenance and repairs in carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Operate light to heavy-duty equipment-think mowers, backhoes, and dump trucks.
  • Keep our grounds looking great with mowing, landscaping, and snow removal.
  • Respond to emergencies and ensure safety across city facilities.
  • Lead and train team members, ensuring top-notch workmanship and safety standards.

    • What We're Looking For :

    Experience : 5+ years in building or grounds maintenance OR current municipal employee with 5 years of relevant experience.

    Skills : Hands-on expertise with tools, equipment, and maintenance techniques.

    License : CDL Class "B" (or ability to obtain).

  • Traits : A team player who can also take the lead when needed, with excellent problem-solving skills.

    • Must be able to successfully complete a background check / investigation, pre-employment drug test.
