As an Event Manager at Newps The Social Club, you'll be at the heart of our exciting events, helping to create an amazing experience for our members and guests. This role is ideal for anyone looking for a job position that pairs perfectly with a 9-5 job.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to venues and partners using Newps-provided materials to source and secure event opportunities.
- Develop event concepts end-to-end, including themes, vision, mood boards, and outfit guides.
- Coordinate and attend venue walkthroughs; document requirements and next steps.
- Lead day-of execution, overseeing vendors, staff, timelines, and guest experience.
- Maintain partner relationships through professional, timely follow-ups and post-event thank-you correspondence.
- Build and manage event timelines, run-of-show documents, and staffing plans.
- Coordinate vendor sourcing and contracts (e.g., photographers, DJs).
- Track event performance and produce post-event recaps with insights and recommendations.
- Keep project trackers and contact records current to ensure cross-team visibility.
- Participate in regular status meetings and provide weekly progress updates.
Qualifications
Experience : 2+ years in event planning, production, or management (social, corporate, or lifestyle events preferred).Organization : Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events, vendors, and timelines simultaneously.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident working with partners, venues, and attendees.Creativity : Skilled at concepting and presenting event themes, mood boards, and guest experience ideas.Detail-Oriented : Comfortable tracking hours and logistics with accuracy and accountability.Technical Skills : Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Canva.Adaptability : Ability to problem-solve quickly and remain calm in fast-paced or high-pressure event environments.Teamwork : Collaborative mindset with a passion for community building and connecting people through experiences.Availability : Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for events in person.Why Newps?
