Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.

MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health. If clinician previously worked with Sanford, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.

All clinicians must badge in and out at facilityGeneral job duties. Types of procedures required. Work Labor & Delivery, post partum, the nursery, Med-SurgEquipment utilized in the unit / dept. EPIC charting, Omnicell, Philips monitors, fetal monitors, panda warmers, giraffe, hearing screener, plum IV pumps with smart libraryRequired skills and minimum years of experience.2 years of experience of L&D, couplet care, antepartum, postpartumSpecific licensures and certifications / registrations required. fetal monitoring, ACLS, NRP, BLS - all required. MN state RN license. Shift or schedule requirements. Generally 12 hour day or night shifts, could be occasional 8 hour shifts. Weekend obligation is 2 weekends in a 6 week schedule. We would be interested in nurses willing to work extra weekends. Call is not required. An OB nurse would not work alone Floating to other units / departments.Med-Surg; If travel nurse has ICU or Emergency Department skills, we would utilize those skills as wellBed size / number of rooms for this unit / dept.We are a 25 bed critical access hospital. We care for ICU, OB and Med-Surg patients. We deliver approximately 300 babies per yearNurse to patient ratio of this unit. For Labor & Delivery, we follow AWHONN staffing guidelines; Med-Surg assignment, ratio is 1 nurse 3-5 patientsDress Code : Navy blue scrubs, pale palette for shirts under scrubsTell us about the unit / department specific training and orientation program.1 day in OB, 1 day Med-Surg Cancellation Policy : Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks Charting System : EPIC BSN Required : No License to Submit : Yes Trauma Level : CAH Care Setting : Acute Division : Shift Notes : Rotating Shifts. Up to 3 weekends in a Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
