TheMember Success Coordinatoris critical in ensuring that the nearly 700 Springboro Chamber of Commerces members feel supported, engaged, and valued. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, relationship-oriented professional with strong organizational skills, a passion for community engagement, and the ability to drive both member satisfaction and revenue growth. This person will work closely with the Chamber's leadership, staff, and Ambassadors to ensure a seamless experience for all members. The Member Success Coordinator will be the concierge connecting members to all the Chamber has to offer!
Key Responsibilities :
Member Onboarding & Engagement :
- Develop and implement a streamlined onboarding process for new members, ensuring they are welcomed, educated about Chamber benefits, and provided with resources to maximize their membership.
- Work with the Ambassadors to ensure that each new member is contacted within a timely manner and receives personalized outreach.
- Collaborate with the team to regularly check in with inactive members, learning about their needs and how the Chamber can better support their success.
- Foster an environment where members feel engaged, connected, and encouraged to actively participate in the Chamber's activities, events, and programs.
Sales and Revenue Generation :
Manage relationships with Chamber benefits partners to ensure that all members are aware of available benefits and how to access them.Develop strategies to promote and grow revenue through benefits partner relationships.Monitor and evaluate the impact of membership benefits for members and make recommendations for adjustments and improvements.Program and Event Coordination :
Engage members in advance of Chamber monthly events to encourage attendance at events.Collaborate with the Marketing / Events Manager to ensure events are effectively marketed to the right audience.Work with the Chamber leadership and other teams to continuously evaluate the effectiveness and relevance of events and educational programs.Encourage and facilitate participation in monthly events by engaging both active and inactive members.Member Recruitment, Retention, and Satisfaction :
Develop and implement strategies for increasing member retention and satisfaction.Identify prospective members and help recruit them to join.Conduct regular surveys or check-ins with members to assess their needs and satisfaction with Chamber programs and services.Identify trends in member feedback and propose initiatives to address any areas of concern.Work closely with the Office Manager to ensure that membership data is kept up to date and accurate.General Support and Collaboration :
Actively engage with Chamber leadership, staff, and Ambassadors to ensure member needs are met and opportunities for growth are pursued.Attend Chamber events and functions to build and maintain strong member relationships.Contribute to Chamber-wide initiatives to promote community engagement and strengthen the value proposition for members.Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in membership management, community engagement, relationship management, or sales. Experience in a Chamber of Commerce or non-profit setting is a plus.Sales & Revenue Experience : Proven ability to drive sales, build relationships, and create revenue-generating opportunities.Relationship-Building Skills : Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with a focus on customer service.Event Planning & Coordination : Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Experience planning, coordinating, and executing events would be a plus.Problem-Solving : Creative, solution-oriented mindset to address member needs and identify opportunities for improvement.Technology Proficiency : Comfortable with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, AI and social media management tools.Team Player : Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, volunteers, and the Board of Directors to achieve Chamber goals.Passion for Community : Genuine interest in the growth and success of local businesses and the Springboro community.Preferred Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, or experience working in a related field.Knowledge : Familiarity with local business community, Chamber operations, and membership-based organizations a plus.Compensation :
