POSITION SUMMARY : Be a part of the Opening Team - training starts Saturday October 11th! Guaranteed hourly rate and included in the tip pool. The host / hostess welcomes guests and seats them at tables. This position reports to the General Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide guests with menus
- Assign guests to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seatings
- Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, or to respond to questions and complaints
- Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries or transfers calls
- Assisting with take out guest and delivery drivers
- Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and guests to ensure that dining details are handled properly, and guests’ concerns are addressed
- Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
- Inform guests of establishment specialties and features
- Receive and record guests' dining reservations
- Inspect restrooms for cleanliness and availability of supplies and cleans restrooms when necessary

Must be at least 17 years of age
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the food industry is preferred.ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS :
Must have the ability / stamina to work a minimum of 25 hours a week.Ability to stand / walk for 4-8 hours per day.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data.Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.Must be able to tolerate potential allergens : Peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish.About Pizzana :
