Sales Hunter IT Managed Services Provider
Location
Remote, but living in either Greenville, SC or Asheville, NC or surrounding areas (i.e. Spartanburg, SC; Easley, SC; Hendersonville, NC) to sale to clients in Upstate, SC and / or Western, NC areas.
Job Type
Full-time, Base Salary + Commission (Commission based on new client acquisition only). Base is $60K to $85K with expected commissions designed to create a total comp package of $150K to $200K
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our team as a high-energy "hunter" focused on acquiring new clients for our IT managed
services. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with a proven track record in IT sales, particularly within the Managed Services Provider (MSP) industry, however, someone with equivalent experience in a technical sales field such as software / hardware sales, cyber security, technical services, etc., will fit as well. The Sales Hunter will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and leveraging our cutting-edge services.
Key Responsibilities
- Pursue new business opportunities, targeting organizations in need of IT managed services (networking, server systems, cloud services, desktop support, etc.).
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets through new client acquisition.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead-generation strategies. (Client lists and targets are provided by the company)
- Conduct needs assessments and present tailored IT solutions to prospective clients, showcasing the value of our services.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new clients, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless handoff of new clients for implementation and onboarding.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to position our services effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline status in the companys CRM system.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience. Preferably with an IT Managed Services Provider, with a focus on networking systems, server systems, cloudservices, or desktop support but someone with equivalent experience in a technical sales field such as software / hardware sales, cyber security, technical services, etc., will work as well.
Proven track record as a "hunter" with success in acquiring new clients and meeting sales targets.Strong understanding of technical services and the ability to articulate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining accountability.Proficiency in CRM software and sales pipeline management. (i.e. Salesforce)Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).Compensation
