Job Description

Escort hospital and ambulatory patients traveling by wheelchair or stretcher to their destinations.

Complete Daily Disinfection Tracking Log for each patient, capturing necessary details.

Sanitize the wheelchair prior to each patient using the Wheelchair High-Touch Disinfection / Inspection Protocol.

Transport each patient in a timely and safe manner to their initial appointment.

Provide courteous and professional service to all patients and their caregivers.

Demonstrate ability to follow directions and navigate throughout the campus independently.

Critical Information

Part-time position, shift times vary, includes rotating weekends and some holidays.

Consistent punctuality and attendance are required.

Labor-intensive role requiring the ability to push patients via wheelchair and / or stretcher, up to 250 pounds.

Education / Licenses Needed

High school diploma required.

1 year of patient care experience and heavy customer service experience preferred.
