Advanced Manufacturing Grant Specialist
Moraine Park Technical College is seeking a full-time Advanced Manufacturing Grant Specialist for a limited term position on the Fond du Lac Campus. The Advanced Manufacturing Grant Specialist guides faculty in the course development process with the Instructional Design team in support of the Department of Labor Strengthening Community Colleges Grant initiatives and activities. The position supports the development of pathways within advanced manufacturing program areas between the college and other academic institutions.
The successful candidate will have an Associate degree in business, communications or related field and two years of related work experience, such as in grant or project management. Additional experience in curriculum development, and / or teaching preferred.
This position is a limited term position funded by the Department of Labor Strengthening Community Colleges Grant through September 30, 2028.

Responsibilities :
Experience & Qualifications :
Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to work independently and problem-solve using sound judgment.
Ability to work within a learning management system (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, etc.).
Knowledge of software applications, including Microsoft Office 365 (Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively with end users, colleagues, and management to provide a complete and timely explanation of issues and decisions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to take initiative, work independently with little supervision and make sound decisions with minimal direction.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers. Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations by promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity.
Desired Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, Education, or a related field preferred.
Experience with open educational resources (OERs) and microcredentials.
Working knowledge of Industry 4.0 in advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity, and / or basic HTML coding.
Experience working with federal and / or state grants.
Any combination of necessary experience and qualifications which provides desired knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Other Position Requirements :
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Hiring Range : $26.95-$31.25
Starting : Immediately
Workplace Flexibility : Limited work from home upon approval
Hours / Schedule / Travel : Academic : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. 4 : 30 p.m. (37.5 hrs), Summer : Monday - Thursday, 7 : 30 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m. (34 hrs)
