Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Cath Lab Tech – Travel Contract.

Shift : 8-hour days (7 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM) plus call

Guaranteed Hours : 40 / week

Contract Length : ~13 weeks

Trauma Level : III

Setting : Acute Care – Cath Lab

Facility & Coverage Details :

  • Campuses Covered : Mercy, Lakeside, Immanuel (Omaha, NE)

    • Radius Rule : Must live 50+ miles from facility (verified by driver’s license at submission)

  • Scrubs : Hospital provided
  • Orientation : 1–3 days at each of the 3 campuses

    • Unit Details :

  • # of Labs / Suites : 1
  • Cases per Day : 1–3

    • Case Types : Left heart caths, stent placement, ICDs, pacemakers, CAD, AMI (inpatient & outpatient adults)

  • On-Call :

    • Weeknights : 1–2 nights / week

  • Weekends : 1 weekend / month
  • Holidays : Rotating
  • ~8 callbacks in the past 30 days (frequency varies)

    • Requirements :

  • Certifications :

    • ARRT or RCIS (CCI)

  • BLS
  • Experience :

    • Minimum 1 year cath lab experience

  • Preferred : Travel experience
  • Skills :

    • Cath lab procedures

  • Scrubbing to assist MDs
  • Monitoring & documentation
  • Equipment : Siemens cath, Siemens Sensis, Apollo, Phillips IVUS
  • EMR : EPIC

    • Scheduling Notes :

  • No block or self-scheduling for day shifts (set schedule)
  • Some self-scheduling flexibility for on-call shifts
  • Floating : Yes – will float between the three covered campuses as needed
