About The Position

Description :

This is a nursing role on a neuro medicine unit.

You will be responsible for providing direct care to patients with various medical diagnoses, focusing on neurological conditions.

Ratios will be approximately 1 nurse to 6 patients.

You will work three 12-hour shifts per week on a night schedule.

Travelers will be expected to float to other units based on staffing needs.

Weekend shifts will be required approximately every other weekend, with an expectation of 5-6 weekend shifts per contract.

During extreme weather events or mass casualties, you may be required to report to work.

All travelers must be willing to work within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.

RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days, and you must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Previous charge nurse experience is preferred, along with neuro experience.

Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to their start.

All candidates will need to have references available at the start of their assignment.

Candidates should display flexibility with scheduling and unit assignments.

Modules must be completed before starting and annually thereafter.

Travelers cannot work more than 5 consecutive days and / or more than 60 hours in one week.
