We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician / Gynecologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Kentucky. This assignment begins on Oct 14, 2025, and spans a 2-day stretch of 24-hour out-of-house call coverage. The ideal candidate will have expertise in deliveries and C-sections and be prepared to respond quickly to call backs for patient care. Job Details Location : Kentucky Start Date : Oct 14, 2025 LOA : 2 days Provider Type Needed : Obstetrician / Gynecologist Schedule : 7AM Oct 14, 2025 7AM Oct 16, 2025; 24-hour out-of-house call coverage Responsibilities and Duties Remain on call for the full duration of the assignment Provide coverage from an out-of-house setting (such as a hotel) and respond promptly to call backs for deliveries and emergencies Conduct patient consults and rounding as needed Manage both regular deliveries and C-sections Additional Information Must meet recent delivery and C-section credentialing requirements (30 regular deliveries and 10 C-sections in the past 2 years, and 60 regular deliveries and 70 C-sections in career) Minimum of 2 years relevant experience required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Proficiency with Meditech EHR Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
