  • Assignment Start Date : October 27, 2025\n
  • Assignment End Date : January 26, 2026\n
  • Contract Length : 13 weeks\n
  • Shift : 12 Hour Nights (6 : 00pm – 6 : 30am)\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week\n
  • Weekend & Holiday : Every other weekend and holiday required\n
  • Scrub Color : Caribbean Blue\n
  • Charting System : Epic EMR\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1840 - $1980\n

    • \n\nER RN Qualifications & Requirements\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Illinois or compact state\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (more preferred)\n
  • Pediatric ER experience preferred\n
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required\n
  • TNCC certification preferred (may be waived with strong ER experience)\n
  • Ability to provide clinical support to a diverse patient population in emergency situations\n
  • First-time travel nurses welcome with sufficient ER experience\n

    • \n\nEmergency Room Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced 35-bed Emergency Department with 2 trauma bays\n
  • Utilize ESI triage algorithm and participate in patient triage as needed\n
  • Care for trauma, stroke, STEMI, mental health, and pediatric patients\n
  • Administer and monitor critical care drips and medications\n
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, LPNs, techs, and paramedics to provide comprehensive emergency care\n
  • Perform blood draws, EKGs, and assist with patient transport\n
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry strips\n
  • Work within a supportive healthcare team environment with 24 / 7 charge nurse and in-house security during peak hours\n
