Location : Berkeley MO-On-site

Salary Range : $80 to $90 / hr - Competitive and based on experience

Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Systems Engineer. This role involves applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify complex lifecycle balanced systems and solutions. The successful candidate will evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior Systems Engineering experience including system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Leadership experience in engineering roles and / or leading work and driving teams to success

Active U.S. Security Clearance

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead the cross-functional team to define and maintain system requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification requirements

Apply interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches to plan, design, develop, and verify complex systems solutions

Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements

Develop, manage, and validate system requirements to ensure compliance with program standards

Conduct design reviews and technical assessments, providing guidance and recommendations

Support and identify improvements for requirements management processes and technology readiness assessment processes
