Sales Manager
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue across the Aloft & Element Miami Doral complex and 107 Steak & Bar by prospecting, developing, and closing business for :
- Meeting rooms and event spaces at Aloft Miami Doral.
- Social and corporate events at the WXYZ Bar.
- Small groups (up to 10 rooms) requiring accommodations and meeting space.
- Private events and group dining at 107 Steak & Bar.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Revenue GenerationActively prospect and solicit new business from corporate, social, and leisure segments.Sell group blocks of up to 10 rooms, small meetings, and event spaces at Aloft Miami Doral and Element Miami Doral.Promote and contract private events and large-party dining at 107 Steak & Bar.Generate incremental revenue through creative event packages, cross-selling, and upselling.Maintain a visible presence in the local community through networking, events, and business development activities.Account Management & Client RelationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key corporate, social, and association accounts.Develop repeat and referral business by delivering personalized and professional service.Conduct site tours, tastings, and presentations to prospective clients.Act as primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through contract execution, ensuring smooth communication and event success.Administration & ReportingPrepare proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs) in alignment with hotel and restaurant standards.Maintain accurate records of accounts, leads, and activities in the CRM system.Monitor group pace, market trends, and competitor activity to adapt strategies.Collaborate with Revenue Management and Operations to maximize space utilization and profitability.Collaboration & TeamworkWork closely with the F&B, Banquets, and Operations teams to ensure flawless event execution.Partner with Marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns for meeting space and restaurant events.Support complex-wide initiatives to increase exposure, brand awareness, and sales.Performance MetricsAchievement of quarterly and annual sales goals (room nights, event revenue, restaurant private dining sales).Growth of new accounts and repeat business.Client satisfaction scores and event feedback.Contribution to overall TRevPAR, and F&B revenue targets for the complex and restaurant.Qualifications & Skills :
2+ years of sales experience in hospitality, events, or F&B sales.Strong track record of closing small groups, meetings, or restaurant private events.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Proficiency in Google Suites and hotel sales systems- STS, lightspeed preferred.Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.Bilingual (English / Spanish) strongly preferred given the Miami / Doral market.Benefits :
